What is Cryolipolysis?
Cryolipolysis is proven to be an advanced non-invasive way that uses fat freezing technology to significantly eliminate fat cells without surgery.
Am I a good Candidate for Cryolipolysis?
Cryolipolysis is applicable to anyone who is suffering from noticeable bulges and fat problems. Depending on health history, this treatment may not be suitable for you or may take more treatments in mild setting to achieve results. Cryolipolysis is not a weight loss solution for people who are obese or a substitute for surgical methods such as liposuction.
How long is each treatment?
Depending on your treatment area and personalised treatment plan, one treatment may last for one or two hours.
Is Cryolipolysis safe? Are there side effects?
It is proven to be a safe and effective way to decrease the size of love handles and abdominal fat. Side effects can include redness, swelling, tenderness to the touch, cramping, itching and numbness.
What does it feel like?
In the beginning, you will feel pressure and intense cold. It soon disappears in a few minutes. You can read, or even take a nap during the treatment. During the treatment, patients may experience temporary pain or discomfort.
Can I return to normal activities after my treatment?
Yes, of course! It is a non-surgical treatment. Some patients experience redness, minor bruising, tingling, numbness or discomfort in the treated area, but this is temporary and will resolve completely. Exercise is encouraged to get best results as you want your body to target that frozen area.
When will I see results?
The client will typically see a change within 3 weeks post-treatment and up to 6 months after.
Do I need to take special supplements or follow a strict diet and exercise program?
Not strictly. However, you will get better and faster results with a healthy diet and moderate exercise. It is recommended to not eat anything for 2 hours post-treatment. Clients often feel very hungry after their sessions. Drink a minimum of 2Lt a day of water for the following weeks post-treatment.
- Low intake of starchy, processed carbohydrates (White bread, pasta, rice).
- Increase in healthy carbs (sweet potato, green leafy vegetables).
- Healthy fats (Fish, nuts, avocado).
- High protein (Chicken, meats, tofu, nuts)
Stay away from your lollies, chocolates, soft drinks and chips. These cause havoc in your body and are the main cause of tummy fat.
Are the results permanent?
Your fat cells will be eliminated after finishing your treatments with Cyolipolysis. If you maintain a healthy diet and exercise, the result should be permanent. If you eat poorly and don’t exercise, your body can build new fat cells to store excess energy.
