Dermaplaning

Dermaplaning

Dermaplaning is a treatment where a sharp, sterile blade is used to exfoliate the epidermis by removing dead skin cells and “peach fuzz,” or villus hair, from the face. This procedure is performed by our skilled therapists as part of a glowing skin facial. By gently exfoliating the upper layers of the skin, dermaplaning eliminates dead skin cells and fine hair, leaving the skin smooth, radiant, and soft.

Benefits of Dermaplaning

  • Smoother skin texture
  • Flawless makeup application
  • Removal of dullness
  • Enhanced absorption of skincare products

How long does the treatment take?

The treatment typically takes 40–60 minutes and requires no downtime, allowing you to resume your daily activities immediately.

Will shaving my face change make me grow more facial hair?

It’s important to note that when we remove the peach fuzz, we are simply shaving the hair down, not removing it from the root. As a result, the hair will grow back at a normal rate and will not become thicker, faster, or more abundant. Regular dermaplaning treatments are recommended to maintain smooth, glowing skin.

How often should I have this treatment?

This treatment can typically be performed every 2–3 weeks. However, clients can also choose to have it done as needed, such as before events or seasonally, to help improve cell turnover.
