Age Spots

Age Spots / Freckle / Pigment

Brown spots commonly occur on the body, particularly the face and hands, due to ageing and sun exposure. Brown spots (or freckles, age spots, liver spots) are signs of the ageing process, and treatment and lightening of these dark spots result in a more youthful appearance.

Freckle and wart treatments provide the most benefit to those with superficial, benign pigmented lesions. To achieve optimal benefit, more than one treatment may be necessary. Pigmented lesion, laser treatments have minimal post care requirements. For better results, patients are to avoid sun exposure, sun beds and tanning creams and lotions for two weeks before treatment and throughout the entire course of their laser treatment.

HOW DOES PICOSURE LASER BROWN SPOT REMOVAL WORK?

Unlike superficial skin care products, PicoSure laser treatments use powerful laser light pulses to blast away pigment deep below the surface of the skin. The laser energy breaks up the dark spots into tiny particles that the immune system can naturally remove from the body. Over time, dark spots on the face, neck, chest, hands, arms, and legs will fade away to reveal your own beautiful skin.
